Description

The medial surface of ulna is the smooth area on the posteromedial aspect of the body of ulna. It is one of the three surfaces of the body of ulna, the other two being the anterior and posterior surfaces. It is an area that is bounded:

—anteromedially, by the anterior border of ulna;

—posterolaterally, by the posterior border of ulna.

The medial surface of ulna provides an origin site for the flexor digitorum profundus muscle.
