Description

The neck of talus is the short, constricted section that extends from the head to the body of the bone. It contains the talar sulcus, and provides attachment sites for the:

—talonavicular ligament;

—talocalcaneal interosseous ligament;

—anterior talofibular ligament;

—anterior tibiotalar part of the medial collateral ligament of ankle joint.
