Description

The pubic tubercle (pubic spine) is the small, raised eminence found along the lateral end of the pubic crest. It can be palpated at the medial end of the inguinal fold.

The pubic tubercle provides insertion sites for the external abdominal oblique and cremaster muscles, as well as an attachment site for the medial end of the inguinal ligament.
