Description

The groove for radial nerve (radial groove, radial sulcus, spiral groove, or spiral sulcus) is the shallow, oblique depression found along the posterior surface of the humerus. It travels in an inferolateral direction and is located between the origin sites of the medial and lateral heads of the triceps brachii muscle.

The radial nerve and the deep brachial artery both pass through this groove.
