Description

The supinator crest (ridge) is the prominent ridge located along the lateral aspect of the body of ulna. It extends inferiorly from the posterior edge of the radial notch to the interosseous border of ulna. Both the supinator crest and interosseous border of ulna separate the anterior and posterior surfaces of the ulna.

The supinator crest provides an origin site for the supinator muscle.
