Description

The supinator fossa is the depressed area found along the anterolateral aspect of the body of ulna. It is located inferior to the radial notch and is bounded posteriorly by the supinator crest.

It accommodates the radial tuberosity during pronation of the forearm and provides an origin site for the supinator muscle.
