Description
The trochlea of talus is the saddle-shaped, superior portion of the bone. It is continuous medially with the medial malleolar facet of talus and is continuous laterally with the lateral malleolar facet of talus.
It contains the superior facet of talus, which articulates with the inferior surface of tibia, contributing to the formation of the ankle joint.
