Anterior Border of Perpendicular Plate of Palatine Bone

Description

The anterior border (anterior margin) is the thin, irregular margin found along the frontal aspect of the perpendicular plate of palatine bone. It extends inferiorly from the orbital process of palatine bone to the junction between the perpendicular and horizontal plates.

The anterior border separates the nasal and maxillary surfaces of the perpendicular plate and articulates with the maxilla and inferior nasal concha.
