Anterior Border of Ramus of Mandible (Right)

Description

The anterior borders (anterior margins) are the margins found along the frontal aspects of both the right and left rami of the mandible. On its corresponding side, each anterior border:

—extends inferiorly from the coronoid process to the oblique line of mandible;

—is located lateral to the retromolar fossa;

—provides an insertion site for a temporalis muscle.
