Description
The crown (anatomical crown) is the superior portion of the mandibular canine tooth that is covered by enamel. It is separated from the root by the cervical line and consists of four surfaces (labial, lingual, mesial, and distal), an incisal margin and a single cusp.
The clinical crown is a term used to describe the superior portion of a mandibular tooth that is not covered by gingiva when viewed in the oral cavity.
