Description

The grooves for spinal nerves are the smooth, concave depressions on the transverse processes of the seventh cervical vertebra. They are found along the upper aspects of the lateral ends of the transverse processes, between the anterior and posterior tubercles. The anterior rami of the seventh cervical nerves pass through these grooves.
