Description

The infraorbital groove (infraorbital sulcus) is the shallow, posteriorly located depression found along the orbital surface of the maxilla. It travels anteriorly from the posterior border of the orbital surface to the infraorbital canal. The infraorbital nerve and vessels pass through this groove.
