Description
The infraorbital margins are the two prominent, curved edges that form the inferior portion of the opening of each orbit. On its corresponding side, each infraorbital margin:
- is formed, medially, by the lateral portion of the orbital margin of maxilla and, laterally, by the medial portion of the orbital border of zygomatic bone;
- is continuous superomedially with the anterior lacrimal crest;
- is located superior to the infraorbital foramen.
