Description

The lambdoidal borders are the two serrated, superolaterally located margins of the occipital bone. On their corresponding sides, each lambdoid border of occipital bone:

—extends inferolaterally from the superior angle to the lateral angle;

—articulates with the occipital border of the parietal bone, forming the lambdoid suture.
