Description
The lateral border of coccyx is the margin found along the lateral side of the bone. It separates the dorsal and pelvic surfaces of the coccyx and provides an insertion site for the levator ani muscle. It also provides attachment sites for the sacrotuberous and sacrospinous ligaments.
