Description

The marginal ridges are the curved elevations found along the lingual surface of the maxillary lateral incisor tooth. They consist of:

- A mesial marginal ridge, which extends mesially from the cingulum and then curves to travel inferiorly towards the incisal margin.

- A distal marginal ridge, which extends distally from the cingulum and then curves to travel inferiorly towards the incisal margin.

The marginal ridges form the mesial and distal boundaries of the lingual fossa of the maxillary lateral incisor tooth.
