Description

The marginal ridges are the curved elevations found along the occlusal surface of the maxillary third molar tooth. They consist of:

- A mesial marginal ridge, which extends lingually from the mesial end of the mesiobuccal cusp to the mesial end of the mesiolingual cusp.

- A distal marginal ridge, which extends lingually from the distal end of the distobuccal cusp to the distal end of the distolingual cusp.
