The mesiolingual cusp is the inferiorly located, pointed elevation found along the mesiolingual aspect of the crown of maxillary second molar tooth. It is one of the four cusps of this tooth, the other three being the mesiobuccal, distobuccal, and distolingual cusps. The mesiolingual cusp consists of both cusp and triangular ridges.
