Description

The orbital tubercle (orbital eminence, marginal tubercle, or Whitnall’s tubercle) is the small prominence found along the orbital surface of the zygomatic bone. It is located inferior to the zygomaticofrontal suture and provides an attachment site for the lateral palpebral ligament.
