Description

The posterior border (posterior margin) is the thin, concave margin found along the dorsal aspect of the perpendicular plate of palatine bone. It extends inferiorly from the sphenoidal process to the pyramidal process of the palatine bone.

The posterior border separates the nasal and maxillary surfaces of the perpendicular plate and articulates with the sphenoid bone.
