Description
The posterior lacrimal crest is the vertical, anterolaterally located ridge found along the lateral surface of the lacrimal bone. The posterior lacrimal crest:
—is located posterior to the lacrimal groove of lacrimal bone;
—is continuous inferiorly with the lacrimal hamulus;
—provides an origin site for the orbicularis oculi muscle.
