Superior Articular Facet of Sacrum (Left)

Description

The superior articular facets are the smooth, concave, posteromedially facing articular areas on the superior articular processes of the sacrum. They articulate with the corresponding inferior articular facets of the fifth lumbar vertebra, forming the zygapophyseal joints.
