Description
The trochlear foveae are the two shallow depressions found along the orbital surface of each orbital part of frontal bone. On its corresponding side, each trochlear fovea:
—is located lateral to the medial end of a supraorbital margin;
—provides an attachment site for the trochlea of a superior oblique muscle.
In some individuals, trochlear spines may be present instead of the trochlear foveae.
