The vesicular appendices are remnants of the cranial portion of the mesonephric (Wolffian) duct.

Vesicular appendices are attached to the free edge of the mesosalpinx or the fimbriae of the uterine tube. The vesicular appendices are typically asymptomatic but may fill with fluid.
Function
This is a vestigial structure in females and males, where it is called testicular appendices.
