The fundiform ligament of the penis is a thickened extension of the lower aspect of the superficial fascia of the abdomen. It is a semicircular ligament that surrounds the base of the penis.

The fundiform ligament of the penis is located superior to the suspensory ligament of the penis. It adheres to, and blends with, fibers of the linea alba, pubic symphysis, and the aponeurosis of the external abdominal oblique muscle.
Function
The fundiform ligament of the penis supports the structure for the shaft of the penis.
