Bin Chen

Bin Chen is a distinguished professor at Beijing Normal University as well as the State Key Laboratory of Regional Environment and Sustainability. His background is environmental system modelling studies. He also leads interdisciplinary research in the field of environmental system engineering and climate change mitigation. To date Prof. Chen has published over 400 academic papers in peer-reviewed journals including Science Advances, Nature Water, Nature Communications, Nature Climate Change and PNAS. In addition, he serves as Editor-in-Chief of Energy, Ecology and Environment, and editorial board member of Ecological Modelling, Journal of Environmental Management, Energy, Applied Energy, Journal of Hydrodynamics, Fundamental Research, etc. He is also among the organizers and keynote speakers for various international conferences.
