École Supérieure de Chimie Physique Électronique de Lyon, France

Elodie Bourgeat-Lami graduated in 1988 from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Mulhouse, France. She received a doctor degree in 1991 from the University of Montpellier (France), on the Study of the Physicochemical and Catalytic Properties of Zeolite Beta.Following her doctorate, she joined CNRS as a junior scientist. She is currently CNRS Research Director at the Laboratory of Catalysis, Polymerization, Processes and Materials (CP2M) 在新的选项卡/窗口中打开located at the Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Physique Electronique de Lyon in Villeurbanne, France.

Her research at CP2M focuses on the development of innovative strategies toward the design of nanostructured particles with controlled morphologies for optical, electronic or coating applications, using conventional and/or living radical polymerization techniques. Her current interests encompass the elaboration of graphene-based nanocomposite inks for printed electronics, pigment encapsulation for electrophoretic ink displays and the implementation of dynamic covalent chemistries in polymer latexes for the formation of crosslinked films with vitrimer properties. An important aspect of her current research is the synthesis of Pickering latexes through thermal or visible light-mediated emulsion polymerization using newly developed photo-initiating systems. She has (co)supervised to date 37 PhD students, given ~ 60 invited lectures in national or international conferences and published ten book chapters, 9 patents and ~ 190 peer-reviewed papers, which have received over 12000 citations (h-index 60).
