Elena Jakubikova is a Professor of Chemistry at North Carolina State University, USA. She joined NCSU in 2010 following a postdoctoral appointment at Los Alamos National Laboratory USA.
She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry (2007) and M.S. degree in Mathematics (2005) from Colorado State University USA. Her main area of expertise is in the electronic structure calculations applied to transition metal complexes, and development of sparse-grid interpolation techniques for potential energy surface construction. Her current research interests include photoinduced processes in transition metal compounds, interfacial processes in dye-semiconductor assemblies, and small molecule activation.
