Afiqa Mohamad

Afiqa Mohamad is a permanent researcher at the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), Japan, since 2021, and is in charge of the research and development (R&D) program on accident tolerant fuel (ATF) at JAEA. She has experience in working with nuclear fuel and cladding materials for ATF development. Afiqa has been awarded a number of awards, namely Atomic Energy Society Japan, Asian Nuclear Fuel, NUMAT and etc.
