Neuroscience Journal Collection
Elsevier’s Neuroscience portfolio features a wide range of journals devoted to the publication of research on all aspects of the field.
New Open Access Journals
Brain Organoid and Systems Neuroscience Journal
Brain Organoid & Systems Neuroscience Journal (BOSN) 打開新的分頁/視窗 is an online gold open access journal publishing research articles and reviews after full peer review. All articles are published, without barriers to access, immediately upon acceptance. The journal places a strong emphasis on brain organogenesis and related stem cell technologies, structure and function of neural circuits and systems, next generation self-organizing models to study development and disease.
Glial Health Research
Glial Health Research 打開新的分頁/視窗 is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary open access journal that aims to publish articles relevant to all aspects of glial structure and function.
The journal combines basic, translational, and clinical research to provide a forum for researchers across multiple disciplines to publish their work and advance the glia field across health and disease conditions.
Coming soon in January 2025!
Brain and Environment
Brain and Environment: the Journal for Brain-Environment Interactions is an international Open Access journal that focuses on the impact of the environment on the functioning of the brain and nervous system. The environment is interpreted in its widest sense to include the built and natural environments, both pristine and polluted, and familial, social, workplace, political, institutional, online, virtual, simulated, zero gravity and war time or conflict settings.
The emphasis of Brain and Environment is on objective measures of this impact on the nervous system provided by epi/genetic approaches, cellular/molecular studies, neurophysiology, brain imaging and behavior, in both humans and non-human mammalian model species. Provided such measures are made, contributions are welcome from a broad range of disciplines including neuroscience, neuropsychology, sociology, psychiatry, clinical neurology, neurosocioeconomics, and political, economic and environmental sciences.
Led by Editor-in-Chief, Bruno Frenguelli, BSc, PhD
