Lucia Schoombee is a Senior Research Intelligence Consultant at Elsevier with a particular focus on research analytical tools and scholarly publishing. In her current role, she works with academic institutions across the African continent on matters relating to research performance evaluation as well as journal quality, publishing strategy, university rankings, and research related to sustainable development goals. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Librarianship and a master’s degree in Science and Technology Studies from Stellenbosch University.
