Synthesizing evidence is an essential part of scientific progress. Systematic reviews help synthesize available evidence for clinical practice and decision-making by analyzing multiple studies. Comprehensive evidence searches are necessary to draw accurate conclusions about the effectiveness, efficacy, or validity of interventions or treatments. This, in turn, assists biomedical professionals in applying current research to healthcare outcomes.

The primary objective of this webinar is to emphasize the importance of systematic reviews in research. It aims to educate participants on best practices and methodologies, address common challenges faced by researchers, and offer practical advice for conducting systematic reviews efficiently. A live demonstration of Embase with biomedical use cases will showcase its pivotal role in systematic reviews.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Increased awareness of the value and impact of systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

  • Enhanced understanding of systematic review methodologies.

  • Improved publication and research output quality.

  • Practical skills in addressing common challenges and improving the efficiency of systematic reviews.

  • Familiarity with Embase as a critical tool for conducting systematic reviews.

  • Date: 18th July 2024 (Thursday)

  • Time: 11:00 - 13:00 IST | 13:30 - 15:30 SGT | 14:30 - 16:30 KST / JST
