Translational and Applied Bioenergetics is a major new series of print and ebooks in life science and applied biomedical research reference literature. The series considers advances in bioenergetics research, with an emphasis on clinical and therapeutic opportunity.

Bioenergetics has driven emerging, impactful science during the past decade, moving the field into more practical and patient-oriented directions. This requires a better understanding of the etiology of impaired bioenergetics in various conditions and pathologies, a plethora of innovative diagnostic procedures from the subcellular level to the whole organism, and many authentic therapeutics designed to tackle poor energy metabolism.
