Yousoo Kim
Surface and Interface Science Laboratory - RIKEN, Japan
Yousoo Kim has held the position of Chief Scientist at the Surface and Interface Science Laboratory at RIKEN since 2015, and since 2022, he has also served as a Professor at the University of Tokyo. Dr. Kim obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in chemistry from Seoul National University in 1991 and 1993, respectively. After completing his Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from the University of Tokyo in 1999, he joined RIKEN. His research is dedicated to elucidating the energy transport and conversion processes on solid surfaces and interfaces in the nanoscale regime.
