The Elsevier author feedback program

Discover how authors are shaping our services

Since 1999, we have been running the author feedback program, a continuous survey of authors' experience of publishing with us.

How does it work?

Corresponding authors of recently published articles are invited to answer questions concerning their publishing experience, providing insight into what authors think about the journal and support they receive. Click here Wird in neuem Tab/Fenster geöffnet to see the statements that authors are invited to rate. All constructive feedback whether positive or negative is very much appreciated. We take it all very seriously and we regularly review the feedback and actively use it to help us continually improve the publishing experience for our authors.

Over 50,000 authors complete the survey each year!

"It was my first experience in publishing in worldwide journal. And I really appreciate highly organized instructions for publication and high expertise of reviewers. (Author on Composites Part B: Engineering from Russian Federation aged 26-35)

"The reviewers read the paper thoroughly and it enabled to upgrade the quality of the paper by doing more validation. It took some time but I am really happy with the last version." (Author on Journal of Computational Physics from Belgium aged 26-35)

"Useful literature was added, technical terms were clarified and the context of the research discussed was understood.  Thank-you." (Author on South African Journal of Botany from South Africa aged 56-65)

"All my questions or notifications related to the article were dealt with quickly and professionally, even in cases I made a mistake. For example, the publishers were able to insert suggested changes in my article even after the "final" acceptance by my side of the proof on line. I congratulate the Publishers for the editing standards and professionalism." (Author on Free Radical Biology & Medicine from Greece aged 56-65)

"I was very satisfied with rapid online publication after acceptance and with possibility to share the paper." (Author on Mitochondrion from Czech Republic aged 46-55)
