About the Attitudes toward AI report

Between December 2023 and February 2024, independent market research firm Ipsos conducted interviews with more than 3,000 people globally working in academia and healthcare. The findings for librarians begin here:

  • 41% of librarians surveyed have used AI tools

  • 78% of those surveyed who have not used AI expect to do so in the next 2-5 years

  • 93% increase the volume of research
