Anita Chandraprakash
Executive Vice President, Operations
Anita Chandraprakash is Executive Vice President, Global Operations. Anita is responsible for content production, enrichment, customer service and distribution of all print and online content. Anita joined Elsevier in 2009 and has held several positions, most recently as Director, E-Operations, managing a global team functioning out of Amsterdam, St. Louis and Chennai, as well as Managing Director of Elsevier’s Chennai site, overseeing the location's growth strategy as the center of business operations and statutory compliance. Anita also served on the RELX India Board.
Previously, Anita worked for Thomson Digital in various roles in Editorial and Operations. She graduated with a distinction in Physics and went on to complete her Master’s in Business Administration. Her passion for computers and programming drove her to earn a first-class higher diploma in Software Engineering.
