Dr. Patricia Paviet, is a Senior Technical Advisor at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, USA. She is the National Technical Director of the Molten Salt Reactor program for the Department of Energy, Office of Nuclear Energy overseeing and directing the research of Molten Salt Reactor Systems across six U.S. national laboratories (https://gain.inl.gov/doe-molten-salt-reactor-program/ opens in new tab/window). She is chairing the Generation IV International Forum Education and Training Working Group since its inception in November 2015. Efforts of this group focus on the GIF webinar series (https://www.gen-4.org/gif/jcms/c_84279/webinars opens in new tab/window), and the Pitch your Gen IV Research competition. She has 30 years of experience on the nuclear the fuel cycle, and repository sciences. She received her Ph.D. in radiochemistry from the University of Paris XI, Orsay, France.
