There is no associated cost to participate in the program, but it is necessary for your institution to have a Scopus subscription. The total duration of the course is approximately six hours* – one hour per week as modules are released over the six weeks. You can take the course on a day or time that is most convenient for you.
Registration is now open for the next cohort starting October 10.

As a Scopus Certified Librarian, you will have the opportunity to:

The RDMLA, a free online professional development program for librarians, information professionals, and other professionals, is now available and will provide opportunities for individuals to develop skills related to research data management. The RDMLA is intended primarily for librarians, but may also be useful to researchers. The program consists of eight units, which can be followed consecutively or separately, alternately, at the user's discretion. Each unit requires an average of one hour and has video material, slides, practical cases, reading resources and self-assessments. The RDMLA and all information related to this program that accompanies it can be found below.
Elsevier together with FECYT and organizes in-person training during the current year. These training sessions are open and free of charge for all centers subscribing to the databases. These courses are taught by specialized trainers with the aim of:
Present and explain the content of the databases.
Train the research community of each center in the use and functionalities of the tool.
Perform practical exercises from the taught syllabus to establish the theoretical concepts learned.
Solve live any doubts that may arise.

Sessions are free but registration is required. Registration for each session opens 2 weeks before the date the session will take place.
This study examines the interface and the main functions of this tool and explores it on the basis of three case studies. The functional analysis shows that the Scopus AI Beta interface is intuitive and easy to use. Elsevier's AI tool allows the researcher to obtain an overview of a problem, as well as to identify authors and approaches, in a more agile search session than conventional search.
