About the event
The future of research impact and emerging narratives: Perspectives from government, industry and academia
With the focus of research impact increasingly moving toward demonstrating societal impact, the implications for the scientific community, funders and research institutions continue to evolve.
As a global information analytics company, Elsevier is excited to bring together key stakeholders from government, industry, and academia to facilitate a discussion on this important topic and provide a space for new ideas to emerge around the themes of place-based innovation and research/innovation culture.
Join us for this in-person, half-day event where attendees will have the opportunity to not only learn more about how the evaluation and showcasing of research impact is evolving, but how the research process itself and the funding opportunities available are adapting to this developing strategic direction.
Date: December 5, 2024 Time: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM Venue: National Press Club, 529 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20045
