Title: Mechanobiological Insights into Collective Cell Dynamics

Professor Lim Chwee Teck is the NUSS Chair Professor and Director of the Institute for Health Innovation and Technology at the National University of Singapore. His research interests are in human disease mechanobiology and development of microfluidic technologies for biomedical applications and bringing them from the laboratory to the bedside. He has coauthored over 500 journal publications and cofounded six startups with one public listed in 2018. Prof Lim is an elected Fellow of nine academies including Royal Society (UK), US National Academy of Inventors, ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology, IUPESM, AIMBE, IAMBE, Singapore National Academy of Science, Academy of Engineering Singapore, and the Institute for Engineers, Singapore. He and his team have garnered over 120 research awards and honors including Nature Lifetime Achievement Award for Mentoring in Science, Highly Cited Researcher, ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award, Asian Scientists 100, IES Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award, Wall Street Journal Asian Innovation Award (Gold) and the President's Technology Award among others.
