Prof. Prakash Biswas is the head of Chemical Engineering Department of Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He did his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and did postdoctoral research at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. His research interests include capture and conversion of CO2, hydrogen production and conversion of biomass derived oxygenates to valuable chemicals and fuels.
